RE: Moving forward with flooring replacement
Looks fabulous! I love the look of the tile on a diagonal. This can't be the first time you have laid tile.

RE: Moving forward with flooring replacement
We drive a Prevost and nearly all of them have granite or marble flooring as you likely know. The prep is everything and it sounds like you have that just right as well. Tile is certainly heavier than carpet, I just saw mostly carpet in the pictures you posted.
Keep us up to date. I know you will love the results and your workmanship looks to be top notch!

RE: Moving forward with flooring replacement
Curious how the 1595 pounds of flooring only adds 145 pounds. It doesn't seem like there would have been 1400 pounds of carpeting.
It should be beautiful, though.

RE: Running Dedicated Water Line For RV at Home?
If it's only a couple times per year, is it really worth the effort? A hose run from a splitter a couple of time per year still sounds like the best and easiest solution.

RE: Installing an oven into a former rental rv
Cruise America rigs all have 120 volt 30 Amp electrical service. Electric ovens are generally 240 volt, so you would either have to completely upgrade the RVs electrical service or find a propane wall oven that would fit. Even that would require upgrading the propane plumbing. Bottom line is adding a true oven is going to be expensive and likely difficult.
Who said electric? 240V oven would be useless as teats on a boar in a RV
Not really, the induction cook top and the dryer in my RV are both 240V.

RE: Generator bogging when A/C is turned on
With a 4500W generator you are going to have around 35 amps available for the coach. The A/C should only be drawing around 12-14 amps except at startup and that only lasts a few seconds. I would go with the first step of shutting off all 120V breakers and seeing what happens when you turn only the A/C breaker on. Let us know what you find.

RE: Installing an oven into a former rental rv
We cook inside almost exclusively. Still, I would never own an RV with an over, it's just not necessary in most cases. Our convection/microwave does all the cooking we need. However, it is only the 2 of us. If more come along on your travels, an oven might make sense.

RE: Installing an oven into a former rental rv
Unless the microwave wave is a special RV unit (smaller than usual) a convection/microwave should fit right in.

RE: Can I Dump Through Sewer Vent?
Sewer or septic tanks? I assume you are certain this goes to one or the other. If so, then yes, just be careful you don't over load a septic system if your RV holding tanks are large. You can run some water down the vent with a fresh water hose to confirm their is no blockage that would cause a back up. You really don't want that!

RE: Will pipes freeze overnight?
A small electric heater in the wet bay and one inside in the kitchen/bath area will like work well. Open cabinet doors that have plumbing inside. Should be cheaper than running propane but is certainly a viable open as well.
Don't leave water in there and hope for the best. That can be a costly mistake.

RE: Campgrounds with Dish Network streaming TV to Roku
The fire stick can connect to any wifi signal as long as you have the password. Fire stick - campground wifi - connected!

RE: Campgrounds with Dish Network streaming TV to Roku
It's likely Dish streaming service which you would be able to access with the Dish App broadcast via the campground WiFi. Sounds like a great solution to wired poor/failed cable in an older campground that needs mega bucks to upgrade/replace.

RE: Thermostat not getting 12v
Have you checked your meter on some other 12V source to make sure it's reading 12V accurately? Bad battery in meter or wrong setting on dial can screw you up.

RE: Winter travel
We just keep the heat on. More expensive that winterizing but much easier!
if you do that be sure to place a 60 or 100-watt incandescent light bulb in the wet bay. many RVs, even basement models, don't heat that area. cheap insurance. Amazon still has incandescent bulbs available.
Incandescent lights are getting harder and harder to find. Don't try with the the new ones that look like the old, those LED bulbs hardly put out any heat at all!

RE: Winter travel
If it's in the driveway you should be able to put a small elec. heater in the wet bays to keep everything above freezing. Another inside the coach should do the same thing.
I am also a big fan of using air to blow out the lines but keep the pressure low and work one line at a time.

RE: Cougar 22rbswe Satelliite Connection
The cable marked satellite should run to to a wall plate which may or may not have a tiny push button or slide switch. There could be a 2nd plate beside this. I don't remember exactly how this setup worked but if you put the jumper in the correct connections y I u bypassed the cable and OTA inputs and get satellite. This would be located where the 211 receiver would be located. If you remove the wall plate you should be able to find the other end of the satellite input coaxnas it must be a direct run from outside to inside without any splitters to work properly.

RE: I am unable to fill the fresh water tank
My coach automatically stops filling when the tank gauge reads full. I am sure there are many higher end coaches that have this option. I don't trust it as it has failed to stop once but it is there.
If you disconnect and the water pumps are pumping water there is water in the tank. Are you seeing that?
